Pope announces his resignation, Saint Malachy and Our Lady of Lourdes

Pope Benedict announced to the world on Monday, February 11, 2013, that he was resigning. The first resignation of a Pope in nearly 600 years, He is in poor health and feels he is incapable of continuing the job of Papal leader for the church. It is interesting he picked the day of the vision of Our Lady of Lourdes which occurred on February 11 in 1858. It is one of the Marian Apparitions like Our Lady of Fatima which occurred in 1917. It was called the Miracle of the Sun in which 70,000 people witnessed a silver disc of the sun which rotated and was multicolored. The vision came to three children who foretold three prophecies. Two prophecies were revealed to the masses but the third prophecy was suppressed by the Vatican. Cardinal Ratzinger and Cardinal Bertone have had connections with the suppressing of the Third Prophecy of Fatima which was not released until the year 2000.

"After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!' And we saw in an immense light that is God: ‘something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White ‘we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests, Religious men and women going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, Religious men and women, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God."

The prophecy talks about the of of  city and a Bishop of White being killed. The Saint Malachy prophecy of the Popes predicts one more possible Pope to follow Pope Benedict XVI whose name will be named Peter the Roman. Peter the Roman will see afterward the destruction of the city of the seven hills. It is interesting the Pope announced his pending resignation on the day of a Marian Apparition. Saint BenedictXVI has seen two conferences supported by the Vatican Observatory on exploring with scientists over the world  to discuss the ramifications if man finds life on other planets. The Vatican Observatory director issued a paper title "The Aliens are our  Brother."

Peitro Bertone has been suggested the possible next Pope. Bertone's first name is Peter and he was born in Rome. He has worked closely with Pope Benedict XVI over the years. In my research of Rennes Chateau mystery,I have found that Berenger Sauniere had in his possession of the Prophecy of St Malachy. A statue of Our Lady of Lourdes holds a key to the mystery of Rennes Chateau on a Visigoth pillar. Sauniere lived at the time of Pope Leo XIII who had a vision in which Jesus allowed Satan to have influence over his church.

The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasting to Our Lord: "I can destroy your Church"

The gentle voice of Our Lord: "You can? Then go ahead and do so."

Satan: "To do so, I need more time and more power."

Our Lord: "How much time? How much power?

Satan: "75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those who will give themselves over to my service."

Our Lord: "You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will."

http://www.futurerevealed.com/christian/catholic/vision-of-pope.htm

A legend says that on Sauniere's death bed he whisperred "John XXIII". Pope John XXIII was instrumental on bringing many changes to the Catholic Church during Vatican II. A story told says that Pope John XXIII read the Last Prophecy of Fatima and fainted for what he read was so disturbing. The Vision of La Salette is another Marian Apparition in which some books were forbidden to read by the Vatican. The book told of the end of the world.

Archangel Uriel in Da Vinic's painting Madonna on the Rocks

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uriel

In the Vision fo Fatima an angel with the flaming sword cries "Penance Penance Penance". The angel's name is often called Archangel Uriel  "the flame of God" or known as the "Angel of Repentance". The Archangel was kicked out of his veneration spot by Pope Zachary in 745 AD. Pope Benedict XVI was asked to reinstate Archangel Uriel as the fourth Archangel to be venerated along side Michael< Gabriel, and Raphael. Pope Benedict XVI refused to reverse the judgement. Archangel Uriel is painted in Da Vinci's Madonna on the Rocks. Our Lady of Lourdes was essentially a Madonna within a grotto of rocks. It was Da Vinci who painted the controversial Last Supper with the female looking figure sitting next to Jesus. Pope Benedict VI favored the conservative stance on women in the church as a result we will see another vote taken in Rome in which women's voices will not be heard. I am fascinated at the announcement of his pending resignation given on the day of the Marian apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes. The timing is interesting.

Pope Francis I and the Third Prophecy of Fatima

A new pope was elected on 03/13/13 whose name is Pope Francis I. I decided to write about the coincidence or significance of the date in which the new Pope was elected. The number three may reflect the third prophecy of Our Lady of Fatima which was suppressed by the Papacy especialy by Cardinal Ratzinger. The Third Prophecy of Fatima was given to Sister Lucia one of the children who saw the vision of Fatima. The apparitions occurred on the thirteenth day of six consecutive months starting on May 13 1917. The children called he Our Lady of the Rosary. The Third Prophecy was released in the year 2000 .

The third secret, a vision of the death of the Pope and other religious figures, was transcribed by the Bishop of Leiria and reads:

Many rumours and conspiracy theories surround the prophecy and the former  I find it a coincidence that the new Pope is elected on the thirteenth. The Third Prophecy and the Maalchy Prophecy both hailed a turburlent time ahead for the Church. Another event that happened on the same day was the Rover on Mars announcement that Mars could have supported life long ago in its past. A step closer to the reality that one day we will find life on other planets gets closer. A Catholic Church seems to agree with that possible reality with their conferences exploring the ramifications on religion if life is found. Who knows Pope Francis I may see that day come.

The number thirteen has a connection with the Templars who were arrested on October 13 1307. De Molay has said to have placed a curse upon the Pope and the King of France at the time of his burning at the stake. The King and Pope later died within a short time after the Templar Grandmaster's death.

Pope Pius XII was buried on October 13 1958 in the Basilica of Saint Peter. He was consecrated a Bishop on May 13 and he fufilled the second prophecy of Fatima consecrating the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Both May 13 and October 13 were days that the visions of Fatima happened. The one thing that must be noted is that Pope Francis I day 03/13/13 though similiar with the number 13 the month March was not a month that the visions were seen. I think perhaps the number three may be linked to the third prophecy.

The Miracle of the Sun at Fatima was witnessed by 70,000 people in which a silver disc sun danced around in the sky. It would be described by UFO enthusiasts as one of the biggest witnessed sightings. It occured on October 13 1917. The same October 13 as the Templars execution date. The words Penance Penance Penance was announced by the angel with the flaming sword which rays of light were aimed at the Earth being witheld by Our Lady. We have seen over the years climate changes going on with the Earth and the corruption that caused the Church troubles these past years. We are witnessing great moments in time and I find that Pope Francis I election

on 03/13/13 an amazing coincidence in relation to the Prophecies of Our Lady of Fatima.

After-life, Holy Grail, UFOs (VIDEO)

Mary Magdalene has been associated with the Holy Grail of which many paintings and pictures over centuries have been done with her holding a sacred cup. “He who drinks much, will see God. He who drinks a cupful, will see God and the Magdalene”. Is it a cup, a plate, a stone, a dish or are all of the aforementioned possibilities? The Grail legend became minced with legends of the Holy Chalice. Legends and folklores are traditional stories and/or tales that can sometimes become popular enough whereas they are looked upon as historical but there is no authentication or back-up facts.

It isn't something tangible or palpable that we can taste or touch utilizing those senses were born with. However, the after-life can materialize smells or scents of what once was. If we know the background of the moment we encounter for such said history, we can actually document the connection between what we have experienced to what may correlate to fact. Verifying anything supernatural or mythical from a time where we could not possibly relate too, and decades worth of spins on old stories is always the challenge. Humans leave imprints and therefore a guided tour mapping out the ability to do excursions and conquests to search for items from the Lost City of Atlantis all the way to conjuring up the dead.

Even unverified stories from earlier times to today believed popular and historical, lead the human race to a constant momentum of being in search of greater things then mankind and manmade outcomes. Does this extend beyond earth into the skies above and out into our universe?

UFO Case from the 1890s copyright Roger Marsh, Mutual UFO Network, Case #32747.

According to Roger Marsh, a UFO writer and independent filmmaker, yes. He is the director of communications for both the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), and Pennsylvania MUFON. Recently he wrote how there were twenty-two Triangle UFO's reported in November of 2012 with witness reports in their database. You can find the complete and fascinating story here: http://www.ufodigest.com/article/22-triangle-ufo-cases-reported-november-2012 as he has taken the time and effort as many in research to further educate mankind of the possibilities our universe has to offer. He states and writes that, "The triangle remains a top three UFO shape for 2012 with 685 U.S. reports filed through December 15, 2012".

MUFON is as with any group or organization like-minded individuals of all back grounds and intellect coming together for the purpose of education, truth, facts, myths and moments where the thought process of man should be to comprehend the notion that we are very small compared to what is really around, below and above us. Roger Marsh's works include Dime Novel Radio Theater, UFO Witness Theater and American Liberty Theater. He is the author of Sacred Dialogue, editor of Silent Invasion, and co-editor of Ron Paul Speaks. His directed works include Tragic Hinsdale House.

It is the like-minded individuals that try and open up the minds of those who are less apt in believing, that there is something grander then mankind on earth. The after-life, holy grail and ufo phenomena are folklores and legends to some while to others; an open door to the possibility of that belief of something being grander then us all. Today, we still seek out if these are segments of life's mysteries…or fact and reality.

Rennes-le-Chateau - "Keys of Antiquity" by Bill Kersey Delivers!

"Keys of Antiquity" and a Teniers` St. Anthony painting.

"The Keys of Antiquity" , the new book by adventurer and Rennes-le-Chateau archaeologist Bill Kersey, is everything that one would expect from this expert in the field.

He covers codes, discoveries, apocrypha, and history from ancient times through the fall of Rome and the Visigoths, to Blanche of Castille and the Voisons at Rennes.

Geometry in art and in the landscape is a key to understanding the mysteries of the Languedoc, Bill discusses this subject in detail beginning with the famous Poussin painting, he applies the Pythagorean ideal to the newly discovered younger Mona Lisa as well. The Rennes-le-Chateau parchments figure prominently in the mystery clues, and the author covers their translation by means of a complex code in detail. It is great fun to follow Bill and his friends on their arduous hikes in the tangled French countryside rain or shine - these are dedicated people!

There is an informative chapter on previous famous discoveries and maps. One of the great treasures revealed in this book is the link between Castle Cabrieres, home of opera diva Emma Calve, to Rennes-le-Chateau and the monastery of Montserrat in Spain during Templar times. A Bill Kersey book is truly and education. "Rhedae, the Visigothic capital of Aquitaine still holds many secrets even to this day. This same terrain, Rennes-le-Chateau, still the hilltop village of mystery, is loth to yield up her treasures. But now that the ancient cipher, extracted from a Poussin painting and artefacts from Pompeii by Bill Kerseys, yields its secrets. Much more the wily Visigoths now reveal in their wonderful system of concealment. Even Leonardo da Vinci proves this same cipher in both the Mona Lisas painted by him.

"Why did the Abbe Sauniere, the Priest of Rennes, insist in linking the 'Royal Treasure' with the ancient cipher for this generation to discover? The investigation of that hoard started in 1972 and has branched out into new dramatic discoveries following a secret cryptic document buried by the controversial priest of Rennes-le-Chateau. The trail leads back into the ancient past, touches base with the Visigoths and lurches forward into the future. Beset with conflicting international interests and dubious secret societies the team try to resolve the enigmas but are overtaken by events beyond their control. But hopefully the out will not prove too disastrous but there is yet another secret in hidden caves". - B.K.

About the Author:  "Some decades have slipped by since Bill Kersey became embroiled in the Rennes saga. By 1973 he had acquired many of the special skills essential to tackle this challenge with any hope of success. He grew up during the 1939 to 1945 war years. At that time the family lived in Surrey near London between three airfields and so endured some of the rigours of war. He received his education at the grammar school nearby. Fortunately the language subjects that he studied included both French and Latin. After leaving school Bill spent some time working on Scottish genealogy before serving two years as an armourer in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. A year of his service was spent in Libya attached to the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards and 16th/5th Lancers.

Much of this time he was working in the desert with the light aid detachment. Leisure activities included exploring the ancient Roman ruins where he was stationed at Sabratha near Tripoli or swimming and diving in the unspoiled Mediterranean sea. Returning to England, he settled into a career in the travel industry with Thomas Cook in London. But travel took him to Rhodesia where he settled with his wife and son and worked for Central African Airways. This included some time spent in Nyasaland as Assistant Senior Sales Supervisor at Blantyre. Again, with time on his hands, Bill served as Diving Officer in the newly-formed Salisbury Branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club, which team achieved the Empire record for fresh water deep diving, using air, in the Sinoia Caves.

On the Zambezi Kariba Hydro-electric Dam project, Bill became part of a commercial diving team from the Sub-Aqua Club. Associated Divers undertook all diving work on the project as well as other commercial and police diving. Bill still found time to develop his mineral exploration and mining skills including operating beryllium and alluvial gold claims in Rhodesia.

This included rediscovering the lost Woolly Dog gold mine near Bulawayo. When Rhodesia declared itself independent, under the government led by Ian Smith, Bill was working for UTA French Airlines. But when UTA's flights were curtailed due to sanctions he moved to Johannesburg in South Africa with Lufthansa and was later transferred to Capetown.

While there, Bill also worked evenings and nights for IBM on the early generation of computers. This skill training stood him in good stead on his return to England.

From Capetown he worked his passage to England as a greaser just at the moment that this story begins. With the passage of time, the author has consolidated his computer and engineering skills while working on a wide variety of major petro-chemical, sub-sea, tunnelling and water projects including the Channel Tunnel and the Libyan Great Man Made River project. Petro-chemical and sub-sea projects include Morecambe Gas Field, Liverpool Bay, Whych Farm, and the West of Shetland development.

He kept his mineral exploration skills tuned by sourcing the gold and mercury deposits on the Gold Mines River in Ireland. Bill Kersey's planned retirement from projects was linked to his part time work with a publishing house over several years. The purpose of this was to learn the skills he would need to publish and bring into print some of his discoveries in the most exciting of all his projects in revealing this dark history behind the ancient cipher. Since then Bill has been involved in further discoveries revealed in the film "Bloodline" and some of those discoveries have opened the path to the Sauniere mystery which is locked into the architecture of the village church".

Did Leonardo Da Vinci invent the bicycle?

The story begins with a monk noticing that two pages of the Codex Atlanticus   were found stuck together. The Codex Atlanticus is a book filled with Leonardo Da Vinci’s sketches as well as his assistant Gian Giacomo Caprotti da Oreno otherwise known as Salai. The Codex Atlanticus is filled with Da Vinci sketches from music instruments to weapons.  The codex was rebounded and restored by Basilian monks in 1968 to 1972.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Atlanticus

The Codex Atlanticus has been dated around 1498 to 1519 and is one of the many codices of Da Vinci’s. It has been said that 44,000 pages of sketches existed around Da Vinci life and now we only have a few found and restored. Some estimates about 13,000 sketches exist today and one wonders what incredible sketches and inventions can be found on the other missing 31,000 pages. Da Vinci sketched on many subjects from anatomy of which he violated the law of the Vatican on dissecting cadavers. It is said he performed an autopsy on his best friend. His sketches of the human body are some of the best. The Vatican later gave him permission to continue his research and autopsies.

The monk found the two pages stuck together and the pages were separated which revealed the sketch of a bicycle that had not been seen for over 500 years. In 1998 a professor has claimed it a fraud. Augusto Mariano , one of the leading experts on Da Vinci believe it is authentic.

Bicycle replica from the sketches of Da Vinci from the Codex Atlanticus at the Da Vinci exhibit in St Louis permission given by my friend David Armstrong for this picture.

I had a wonderful time walking through the exhibit looking at all of the inventions that Da Vinci created and his amazing insight and genius.

Photo above is of a anemometer. Permission granted by David Armstrong picture taken at Da Vinci Exhibit.

One thing is obvious that Da Vinci was secretive about his work and was afraid it would fall into the wrong hands. He invented the first copyright by purposely eliminating one piece or step in his diagrams to ensure only he could get his inventions to work. Many of today’s machines contain a component or invention of Da Vinci. He was an incredible genius. Did he invent the bicycle? What do you think?

SPELLBINDING ACCOUNTS OF HIDDEN TREASURES

Why are so many people fascinated by treasure? Is it purely a desire for wealth or is it also the romantic appeal of tales of lost ancient artifacts? Indeed the stories behind certain treasures, especially those looted from their archaeological context, read like a cross between Indiana Jones and James Bond. Such a case is Sevso Treasure, a hoard of 14 large silver vessels from the late Roman Empire, estimated to be worth $200 million on today’s market. Looted from an unknown Roman palace in the 1970s the story of these ‘cursed’ pieces as some researchers have called them, involves at least one possible murder, shady consortiums, allegations of forgery, and back market double-dealing. Or the celebrated Amber Room, a complete chamber decoration of amber panels backed with gold leaf and mirrors, stolen by the Nazis in 1941 from the Palace of Tsarskoye Selo, near Saint Petersburg, and brought to the castle at Königsberg (modern Kaliningrad in Russia) from where it disappeared, though rumours persist that it still survives today as a part of the Nazi loot known as the Štěchovice Treasure.

The appeal and excitement of ancient treasure and the stories connected with it is undeniable. Recent widely publicized discoveries of ancient treasure hoards such as the Staffordshire Anglo Saxon hoard, valued at £3.2 million in 2009 (see chapter in this book), the Frome hoard of 2010, and the magnificent hoard of 50,000 silver and Bronze Iron Age Celtic coins discovered in June 2012 on the island of Jersey, just off the coast of Normandy, France, have contributed to the dramatic rise in the popularity of treasure hunting and metal detecting over the last decade or so. Further afield the 1800 year-old cache of 140 gold and silver coins and gold jewelry, from the area of Kiryat Gat, in southern Israel, and the exquisite 2,400-year-old hoard of Thracian gold from a tomb in Sveshtari, Bulgaria, both discovered in 2012, show that fantastic discoveries are still being made and our knowledge of the ancient world is continually being added to.

‘Treasure' can take many forms. It might be an ancient chest brimming with gold and silver objects, a romantic image of something almost mystical hidden away and forgotten in bygone times, even a legal term defined by law to denote certain types of artifacts dug up from the ground. The 1997 Treasure Act in the UK, gives a number of different types of find which qualify as Treasure, including:

Any metallic object, other than a coin, provided that at least 10 per cent by weight of metal is precious metal (that is, gold or silver) and that it is at least 300 years old when found. If the object is of prehistoric date it will be Treasure provided any part of it is precious metal. . . All coins from the same find provided they are at least 300 years old when found . . . Only the following groups of coins will normally be regarded as coming from the same find: hoards that have been deliberately hidden . . . smaller groups of coins, such as the contents of purses, that may been dropped or lost . . . votive or ritual deposits. (http://finds.org.uk/treasure/advice/summary)

But is the human fascination with such treasure purely a desire for wealth or has it more to do with the romantic appeal of tales of lost ancient artifacts? It is certainly true that the stories behind the loss and recovery of a number of ancient treasures, like the Sevso Treasure and the Amber Room for example, read like edge of the seat fiction, somewhere between Indiana Jones and James Bond.

But treasure need not always be in the form of gold and silver jewelry, weaponry or coins, as the chapter on the incredible cache of mummies from Deir el Bahri, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the city of Luxor, in Egypt, shows. The main connection between the treasures discussed in this work is that each has a story. From the riches of Tutankhamun's tomb in Egypt's Valley of the Kings, to the northern European hoards of the Vikings, from ancient Chinese Treasure Ships to Nazi lootings during WWII, every treasure has a fascinating tale to tell. Such stories can shed much needed light on the ancient cultures that originally deposited the artifacts, or if the objects were looted from their original context, it may be the often labyrinthine journeys of the treasures after their discovery in modern times which provide us with the astonishing narrative.

In this way the ancient and the modern combine to create a unique picture of the objects that goes beyond archaeology and history.

MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY IN LANGUEDOC

I have lived in the Narbonnais in the south of France for some thirteen years now, and never been back to England. I came here to live after twenty years of visits to the region, knowing in my heart this was the place for me.

Sometimes it wasn't easy, but I never even thought about going back to that grey place called Blighty.  I was told I was very brave, but to live here was a driving force in my life; Lord Destiny was making himself felt and there was no saying no.

Click here to enlarge top photo.

Writing a personal book is quite demanding.  How much of yourself should you reveal, and why.  I have been writing this one for ten years.  It's always with a sweep of relief that I finish the the personal bit and can crash on with the history!

Val Vineyard is the author of The Mayor That Was Me

One day within six months of my arrival to live here, I was walking in the village cemetary with a woman friend who suddenly stopped beside a grave and blurted out;  “The person in the grave is now you.”  She was quite white and shivering and told me she always got like that when she had a psychic feeling.

Being a down to earth sort of person, I thought; “Oh-oh, crazy!”

I couldn't wait to get away, but curiosity overcame me after a few days and I went back to the grave and wrote down the name.

I asked around and it turned out the person buried in the grave was a previous mayor of the village, hence the name of this book, The Mayor That Was Me.  The book is far more about him than about reincarnation, which can never be proved.  After all, one cannot strap a camera on the back of a soul to see what happens to it.

And yet there were many strange things that happened to me, and odd coincidences and connections, and as I investigated the mayor's life I found many likenesses between our two personalities.

However, it was the investigating that enthralled me, and what I found out triggered many of the books I have written since I have lived here.  I love ferreting out unknown history of this our region and so The Mayor That Was Me contains much that is not in the standard history books.

In this way my “reincarnation experience,” for want of a better expression, changed and stimulated by life in hundreds of delightful ways.  I found out that my previous life was of Visigothic descent and my research resulted in the book “The Visigothic Inheritance.”

His/my ancestors came from the Ariège.  They were at Vals, at Montségur, Usson and Montaillou.  They were Cathars, and I wrote intensely about the last days of Montségur in 1244 and Montaillou in 1308.  My heroine was Alazais, one of the many lovers of the Roman Catholic priest Pierre Clergue who was a secret Cathar.  Her son was a passeur who helped the Parfaits escape over the mountains.  Alazais was questioned by the Inquisition and spent a year in prison but she never gave away either her son or her priest.

Many of the Ariège people moved to the Narbonnais in the 18th century looking for work, but some were middle-class.  One, a lawyer and a deputy for Aude, voted for the death of the King during the revolution.  He was a republican, as they called socialists in those days, as was also the mayor that was me.

A great believer in the total separation of Church and State, I have never hidden my own socialist tendencies (to the despair of people at dinner parties.)

The life of my mayor himself sent me into further by-ways; notably the Occitan scene here which has been reviving itself since the early 19th century.  He was trained in science and writing, as I was, and he became a well-known Occitan poet.  (While the British laugh at poets, they are well-respected in France.)  Their poems are not long dirges, but crafted over and over until every word was full of hidden meanings.

It was a strange day for me when I first heard Occitan music and I understood the songs and felt so strongly that I had heard them before.

Meanwhile, I was writing a great deal about the mysterious Rennes-le-Château and started a web-site for the results of my research, called http://writingaboutrenneslechateau.blog4ever.com  Then I wrote a book called Mary Jesus and the Charismatic Priest that you can see on my article about Rennes-le-Château.

It is only recently that I found out my previous life had visited there and knew Bérenger Saunière.  I think that was the final snippet that made me think; I must put this book together and get it out there.

Few English-speaking people in the south of France know much about the Occitan scene; it is not just an ancient language, but is also a passion for this region and its unique culture, quite patriotic, many of the songs talk about “the men from the north”, first the Franks and then the Catholics, who ravaged this country, with its beautiful culture of music and literature, and brutally killed its people.

The Occitan poems written in the 12th century by the troubadours, many of them Cathars, are still modern in concept today.

Beyond dusty history books – the records of the Inquisition still exist – much was forgotten, then interest in Catharism revived with the French neo-Cathars of the late nineteenth century (my previous life knew them) and the intense Grail hunters of the 1930's.  But neo-Catharism, fantastic and heavily spiritual, was not at all like that of the original Cathars, who loved the New Testament and especially the Gospel of St.John.  They were Christians.

So once again, my “reincarnation experience” has sent me off on more research;  I have found beautiful images and manuscripts, especially in the Corbières.  You can see many films on my site for the book;   http://themayorthatwasme.blog4ever.com

Meanwhile, I have kept the price of the book really low – 10€80 – in the hope of introducing English-speaking people to the Occitan culture.  You can find it on Amazon but it's cheaper from  http://valwineyardpublishing.blog4ever.com

SUNSET OF THE GOLDEN DAWN

A martial obligation of the House of Lords was to shield the British Crown from burden or blame. The entrée of the Illuminati served a strategic goal in this state of affairs. For as the Vatican had previously done, the recently picked lords and ladies could exploit lower groups as human shields. Bavarian bankers and "collection-barons" could unassumingly redirect all detrimental criticism — to gypsies and Jews. Given that a Germanic household had few misgivings about keeping the title of the English monarchy, its well-to-do lineage could also provoke the uncertainties of Semitic laypeople.

But if the Bayern Illuminati brought about the end of the Holy Roman Empire, by what authority did the Germanic monarchs and landed gentry continue to preserve their "holy rights" and hereditary titles of nobility? A number of courtiers imagined a "Jesus bloodline" as a chain of offspring of the historical Jesus and Mary Magdalene. The notion of the Holy Grail as a lineage or the genealogy descending from Jesus' marriage with Mary Magdalene was revealed in Dan Brown's popular novel, "The Da Vinci Code" (2003).

Dan Brown used material from "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" (1982), by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh, and Henry Lincoln, which was based in part on Pierre Plantard's 1950s "Priory of Sion." Plantard dismissed the Jesus bloodline story as fiction in a French radio interview in 1982.

"However, Plantard's ‘Priory of Sion' documents prior to 1956 were found to be forgeries which were planted in French institutions to be later ‘rediscovered.'" The French government depicted Plantard as a pretender to the French throne. He claimed that descendants of the Hebrew tribe of Benjamin were the "Merovingian" line of Frankish kings.

Nikos Kazantzakis (author of "Zorba the Greek") presented an atypical view of a spiritual romance between Jesus and Mary Magdalene in his 1951 book, "The Last Temptation of Christ." For that work, the Church prevented Kazantzakis' body from being buried in a cemetery. His famous novel often shows up on lists of banned books.

"The Life of Saint Mary Magdalen," a 13th century account of the life of Mary, tells of her journey to the Southern shores of France. The early French story records that Mary "Magdalen," traveling with her brother Lazarus of Bethany and Martha, landed in a boat on the coast of Provence. French legend declares that Mary Magdalene, with Joseph of Arimathea and other friends, brought the Holy Grail to France, fleeing persecution in Palestine: "O Mary Magdalene, why camest thou to Marseilles?" ("The Life of Saint Mary Magdalen," The Golden Legend, 1260)

Selected folklore of the "Jesus bloodline" hypothesis guardedly held that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were not Semites in actual fact, but exiled Egyptian (Ptolemaic) royalty. The "proof" was allegedly buried in a small churchyard in Rennes-le-Chateau (stirred by the Roman Catholic maltreatment of the Albigensians or Cathars of Southern France). That twist of history allowed constituents of the Illuminati landed gentry to make a claim of angelic blood relations to an "Aryan Jesus" without being Semitic. It suited the "Priory Grail" explanation for their pretentious sanctified rights and hereditary titles of nobility. "I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan." (Revelation 2:9)

"According to the vast majority of professional historians and scholars from related fields, there is no historical, biblical, apocryphal, archaeological, genealogical, or genetic evidence which supports this hypothesis. Hypothetical Jesus bloodlines should not be confused with the biblical genealogy of Jesus or the historical relatives of Jesus and their descendants, who are known as the Desposyni." (Wikipedia.org)

Far from the islands

(Mike Oldfield, "To France," 1984)

The Firstborn of the Illuminati greatly admired monarchism once he came to grips with the fact that the kingdom's crown had been germanisch since 1714. He was the engineered progeny of a Quaker insemination. In his opinion, he was the self-direction of all human progress. Scientists, politicians, and social leaders had created him through a program to improve human heredity.

The Horus Incarnation was a smart hairless gentleman with a cane and a Panama hat who had voyaged to the Greek island of Patmos. His footfalls were noisy as he walked to the Grotto of the Revelation where St. John wrote Biblical passages of the Apocalypse.

The beast 666 had acquired a birthright from this bizarre cavern. A circle of bodyguard soldiers marched around him. The Nazi defeat of Greece was fulfilled in 1941, with the capture of important islands.

ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE AND THE HOLY GRAIL

THE MUSGRAVE RITUAL

The Scottish writer Arthur Conan Doyle is most familiar to us today as the creator of the detective Sherlock Holmes. A lesser known fact about him is that he was also a Scottish Rite Freemason. Doyle was inarguably a highly intelligent and well-read man, who later in his life turned to mysticism and was the head of a Spiritualist movement, which lobbied to change England's old law against witchcraft. He was a champion of the occult, and relished the writings of Crowley and Madame Blavatsky. Doyle may also have been a user of cocaine (due to his favorable references to it in his earlier works.) This drug was legal and socially acceptable then, and has been described as causing one to make strange mental leaps.

Click here to enlarge top photo.

All of that together gives us a person who would, either knowingly or subconsciously, incorporate some highly relevant symbolism into his stories, infusing the Detective Mystery genre with other Mysteries.

According to a simplified version of Jung's immortal theory of the Collective Subconscious, all of humanity's dreams and desires are added to an endless stream of thought which is common to us all. Some sensitive people, notably adepts of the various creative arts, can somehow "connect" to that stream and get ideas and symbols out of it, which they shape into their creations. Critics may refer to this faculty as "creativity" or "imagination".

A secret as big and ancient as the "Holy Grail", which countless seekers strove to find over the centuries and even millennia, would certainly leave a mark on that timeless record. The brilliant trickster Doyle is actually likely to have known much of the Grail lore, as part of his research on the history of the Scottish Rite. Either way, whether by design or not, this lore found its way into his own tales.

There is a particular Sherlock Holmes adventure which can provide some very revealing information about the history of the Grail in modern times. It is called "The Musgrave Ritual", and it is widely available online, for example at this link.

This short story is by no means an example of Doyle's finer writing, or of Holmes' more brilliant deductions and better known cases. And its plot is far less captivating than some of Doyle's faster-paced adventures. But this could well have merely been a clever tactic adopted by Doyle in order to conceal the real importance of his account - because most readers would usually look no further. Let us scrutinise closely what he is telling us in that story.

Holmes initially sets out to find a missing butler and maid at the mansion of an old aristocratic friend, but ends up discovering something entirely different in addition - a buried treasure of King Charles I Stuart (which name is still spelled "Stewart" in the Scottish King Lists.).

The nature of the treasure itself is not important to the plot of the detective mystery the reader is presented with, and it is revealed only at the very end of the story, further diminishing its significance. Yet that is exactly the part which should pique the curiosity of any Grail researcher.

And that is because according to research put forward by such works as "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" by Baigent, Leigh and Lincoln, or "Bloodline of the Holy Grail" by Laurence Gardner - Charles I Stewart is named as the hereditary head of a "secret brotherhood", which was in charge of safeguarding nothing less than the Holy Grail itself. This "Grail" was supposed to have been hidden somewhere in Scotland, most likely at the Roslyn Chapel, by the remnants of the Knights Templar who fled France after the destruction of their Order in the year 1307 CE.

The main clue which Holmes has to work with in the story, is an old family ritual of his friend Reginald Musgrave. Nobody in the family knew if the ritual meant anything at all - but respecting the wishes of their ancestors they had dutifully passed it through many generations of Musgraves, each head of the family traditionally teaching it to his male offspring.

Holmes' friend caught his butler one day in the family's private library, surreptitiously studying the old document, shortly before that butler went missing. Holmes reads the ritual, and understands right away that the ritual in fact deals with the location of some kind of a buried treasure.

Here is the wording of the Musgrave family ritual. It's presented in the form of a question-and-answer dialogue, familiar as an entry ritual into all secret societies, including Freemasonry and College Fraternities.

'Whose was it?'
'His who is gone.'
'Who shall have it?'
'He who will come.'
'Where was the sun?'
'Over the oak.'
'Where was the shadow?'
'Under the elm.'
'How was it stepped?'
'North by ten and by ten, east by five and by five, south by two and by two, west by one and by one, and so under.'
'What shall we give for it?'
'All that is ours.'
'Why should we give it?'
'For the sake of the trust.'

Holmes performs an intelligent bit of geometric triangulation, to determine where a shadow of a rooted-out elm (whose height had fortunately been recorded) would have fallen , when the shadow of the still-standing oak tree on the estate would've been at the elm trunk. He then measures on the ground the amount of steps given in the ritual, and proceeds to find both the missing butler and the crypt where the treasure was concealed.

It was hidden on the Musgrave estate by friends of the deposed and executed King Charles the First, who were fleeing the Parliamentary forces of Oliver Cromwell. The exact date is not given, but Musgrave notes that his ancestor was a "prominent Cavalier and right-hand man of Charles II in his wanderings". These "wanderings" are known to have taken place after the battle of Worcester in 1651, when the Royalists were defeated in their attempt to help the young son of Charles I gain back the usurped throne, two years after his father was beheaded by the Parliamentary government in the English Civil War of the 1640's.

Holmes guesses that Musgrave and other Stuart supporters hid some historically important relics to keep them from being plundered, so that they could be passed onto Charles II when he was restored to power. The hiding place was described in the family ritual. The opening lines, "Whose was it"/"His who is gone" refers to Charles I. The second question and answer "Who shall have it"/"He who will come" refers to the hoped-for future coronation of Charles II.

But the original Musgrave who concealed the trove and wrote the ritual, had evidently died in the war before he had time to reveal its secret to his own son. Thus his descendants had no idea of the ritual's true significance, until it was discovered by Reginald Musgrave's butler and then by Holmes.

The "treasure" itself, which was hidden in that manner and eventually did not find its way to the son of Charles I but instead remained decaying under Reginald Musgrave's house for over two hundred years, consisted mostly of some corroded and useless coins, and a shapeless piece of rusty metal. But after having cleaned it and bent it into its original shape, Holmes discovered that it was, in his own words,  "nothing less than the ancient Crown of the Kings of England".

As mentioned, we are told this fact only at the very end of the story. The nature of the treasure when revealed, turns out to be merely incidental to the larger romantic adventure between the butler and the maid, whose mystery was unraveled by Holmes. And in fact it's quite a disappointment to reach that end-part in the story, as the treasure itself means very little to any of the heroes in the tale, or to the reader.

Yet it would seem that the very lack of importance of this treasure in the story plot, is used by Doyle to disguise the fact that we are, in fact, talking about a vital link in the British Royal Succession, the very Old Crown of England itself. A most important artifact in itself, it is also extremely symbolic - not only of the Power its wearer wields, but also of the sacred Grail guardianship with which the Stewart line was entrusted.

The lost cache belonged to Charles I and it did not reach his son because of the Revolution. But Charles II did in fact eventually assume the British Throne nine years later in 1660, soon after Cromwell's death - so he did actually inherit "the crown", the Monarchy itself, if not the actual previous golden crown, which indeed was changed in England, with his ascent to the throne. He did get "the crown", even if it wasn't the original one. So which "treasure" of his father's did he NOT get?

With Charles II the succession to the English throne in the Stuart line continued. This can only mean that Doyle was referring to another kind of succession which was broken here - that of the Stewart Grail Keepers, which was interrupted with the beheading of Charles I so that his sacred charge did not make its preordained way to his eldest son and rightful heir. The Grail succession stopped with Charles I.

The Grail, according to the legends, was deemed much more important to its guardians than rulership of the land. According to the history books, Charles II had a new crown made to replace the "lost" one, and this signifies that some sort of a major change took place in the British Monarchy at that time as well, as from that time on the monarchs wore a "different crown" than before. The symbolic significance of the Old Crown as the Old Grail cannot be denied.

This is borne out in the last question of the Ritual - "Why do we do it/For the sake of the trust", which words should be written in capital letters as The Trust, thus obviously referencing the object of this ancient Stewartship. Doyle is saying that, due to the social and political upheavals brought about by the Commonwealth Revolution (as well as the changing religious climate in Scotland), Charles II no longer had the same control of the Grail as his father did. The Treasure did not make it into his hands.

CASTILLON AND RILKE TO RUSSIA WITH LOUISA SALOME

Rainer Marie Rilke with Madame Louisa Salome in Russia.

Rainer Marie Rilke, 'a Bohemian-Austrian poet and novelist, "widely recognized as one of the most lyrically intense German-language poets",writing in both verse and highly lyrical prose. Several critics have described Rilke's work as inherently "mystical". His writings include one novel, several collections of poetry, and several volumes of correspondence in which he invokes haunting images that focus on the difficulty of communion with the ineffable in an age of disbelief, solitude, and profound anxiety. These deeply existential themes tend to position him as a transitional figure between the traditional and the modernist writers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainer_Maria_Rilke  Rilke (Castillon Diary Saenz de Castillon Diary 1903) confesses to feelings of deep depression and despair. He meets Louisa Salomon, a lady of Russian origin who has studied the new psychoanalytic techniques in Vienna under Wilhelm Stekel a member of Sigmund Freud's inner circle. She puts him through a course of therapy with beneficial results'.

Click here to enlarge top photo.

Salomon is a rich and emancipated woman (she is married to a certain Alois Andersson a German  linguist proficient in Oriental languages then teaching at the Ottoman Imperial Military Academy in Constantinople but theirs is an "open marriage") who all her life has had a close relationship with artists, writers, musicians, philosophers a sort of intellectual groupie one could say although that would not do justice I think to lady's own intellectual capabilities.

In May he is invited by her to take part in a tour of Russia together with R an upcoming poet,an Austrian living in Paris, E a French doctor and mage and C an English initiate of the Golden Dawn. They declare their interests - Salomon, sex and religion (especially the Khlysty and Skoptsy); R, meetings with Russian poets and artists and hopes to visit the aging Tolstoy (he is writing articles on the history of icon painting); E, shamanism, thaumaturgy;C, qabbalah. R the poet seems to have taken Salomon as his muse, she seems to be a mother figure to him. Sadly there is no more diary terminates abruptly on the eve of their departure due to mutilation i.e. pages torn out.

From "Irmine"; "As for other names, I've not yet had chance to think about them, but I'll let you know if I come up with anything. Edit - PS The poet R has got to be Rilke". Can you guess who "C" might be? Rilke and Russia "One can sense the poet behind them, the vibrancy of Rilke`s inspirations, and his great love of Russia, which he called his “spiritual motherland.”Rilke’s keen interest in Russia was first planted in him by his friend, the Russian-born author, Lou Andreas-Salomé (née Louise von Salomé or, in Russian, Luiza Gustavovna Salomé). He first met her in 1896, when he was 21, they were lovers for several years, and she remained his confidante and an influence on him for the rest of his life. She began teaching him Russian in the late 1890s so that he could read Pushkin and Tolstoy in the original.

In April-June 1899 Rilke, in the company of Salomé and her husband Friedrich Carl Andreas, made his first visit to Russia. In the six weeks that he spent in Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Rilke met several major cultural figures including Leo Tolstoy, the artists Ilya Repin and Leonid Pasternak (the poet Boris Pasternak’s father), and the sculptor Pavel Trubetskoy (Paolo Troubetzkoy). On his second and more extensive trip to the Russian Empire, with Salomé, from May through August 1900, Rilke’s travels followed a far-flung itinerary: Moscow, Tula, Leo Tolstoy’s estate at Yasnaya Polyana, Kiev, Kremenchug, Poltava, Kharkov, Voronezh, Saratov, Simbirsk (now Ulyanovsk), Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, and Moscow again.

Those were days filled with many vivid experiences, cultural interactions and keen observation that had an impact on his poetry and prose. He was fascinated by Russian aristocrats and common folk alike. Russian orthodoxy and the Russian style of spirituality appealed to him; he visited many churches; Easter celebrations at the Kremlin etched themselves into his memory. He met and was impressed by the Russian peasant poet, Spiridon Drozhzhin, whom he soon translated into German. Rilke’s Russian was far from fluent, but he read it passably and worked hard on it especially during this period of intense Russophilia and dissatisfaction with Western civilization. On returning from his first trip to Russia, full of deep impressions and planning to move there permanently (a dream that never came true), Rilke suddenly found himself writing poems in Russian. As he noted in his diary, the first of them “unexpectedly occurred” to him in the Schmargendorf forest near Berlin in late November 1900. By early December he had written six Russian poems.

He dedicated them to Salomé, who found them “grammatically off” yet poetic. He revised those and added another two in April 1901. In the fall of 1900 Rilke met his future wife, Clara Westhoff, and his life changed. He never returned to Russia but retained his love of it and his ties with Russian poetry, namely, with Marina Tsvetaeva and Boris Pasternak. My translations of Rilke’s Russian poems are intended as an experiment in bringing to light their substance, form and implied tone as faithfully as I could manage, while stripping away the infelicities of the originals."— Philip Nikolayev Nikolayev states that Rilke never returned to Russia, but don Rodrigo de Saenz y Castillon planned a trip there with Madame Salome and a poet "R" who sounds much like Rilke.

Some researchers think that the character "C" refers to Aliester Crowley who was known to have spent time in Russia and to have written a treatise on the Kabbalah in the following years. What a group, the mystic lady, the dashing writer, our Rodrigo, the poet Rilke, and Crowley. The Castillon diary abruptly ends here on the eve of their departure with pages ripped out. We can only imagine Castillon`s reaction to Crowley and what happened on their journey. Perhaps he did not want his diary to include this interlude. Rainer Maria Rilke, Lou Andreas-Salomé, and the Russian peasant poet Spiridon Drozhzhin in Moscow, 1900.

NEPHILIM GIANTS: WERE ONE OF THEIR BLOODLINE POSSIBLY RICHARD THE LIONHEART?

Richard the Lionheart’s bloodline had been traced by historian Ralph Di Ciento.. He linked Richard’s bloodline all the way back to Noah and Woden.  In Genesis,Noah built an ark and survives the great flood that occurred after the Nephilim fallen angels from the heavens took the daughters of Eve for wives. Giants were said to be their off spring. The Angevin legend talked of a strange bloodline. Richard was part of the Angevin family.

King Richard was a giant among men of his time for he was six foot five inches scholars have reported. His height can be seen at his effigy at Fontevraud  Abbey. His gravesite has the Seal of Solomon all over his grave. The Seal of Solomon is called the Star of David. The giants survived the flood for we seen later in the Bible the story of David and Goliath.  Richard’s death could be a replay from that story for a young boy is said to have slain King Richard the giant.

Richard’s mother Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine believed in the tale of King Arthur. At Glastonbury legend goes that King Arthur’s grave was found and he was a giant. Tales of the Giants of Albion lived on the island of England.

 “According to the 12th century Historia Regum Britanniae ("The History of The Kings of Britain") by Geoffrey of Monmouth, the exiled Brutus of Troy was told by the goddess Diana;

"Brutus! there lies beyond the Gallic bounds

An island which the western sea surrounds,

By giants once possessed, now few remain

To bar thy entrance, or obstruct thy reign.

To reach that happy shore thy sails employ

There fate decrees to raise a second Troy

And found an empire in thy royal line,

Which time shall ne'er destroy, nor bounds confine".

At Chartres Cathedral in France, Blanche Castile and her son King Louis IX placed in the stained glass the Noah window. Blanche and Saint Louis were related to King Richard the Lionheart. Saint Louis was said to tower over men.  The stained glass window tells of the story some historians say of the Nephilim. The stained glass windows show giants. One of the giants holds a club like Orion the giant who represents the Orion star system.

Genesis 6:4

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

Could the Nephilim who came from the heavens in the Bible be related to the Orion star system? The word Nephilim some say to be connected to niyphelah in the Aramaic culture which talks about the Constellation of Orion descendants.  I wonder if Richard the Lionheart thought he was related to the Nephilim? His lineage was traced back to one the Jewish family of Noah.  He knew the Bible story of the fallen angels who came down from the heavens and did it make him wonder that is where he inherited his great height, beauty, and thirst for power. What do you think?

THE GRAIL OF THE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR: WHAT IT IS AND WHERE IT IS?

As secrets go, this one has been well kept for 900 years.

Officially, the Knights Templar was created in 1118 after the Order took up residence on Temple Mount in Jerusalem. But what if, by then, the Templars were already active in another land two thousand miles to the west, carrying out a covert exercise to create Europe’s first independent nation-state, where they established a kingdom within a kingdom?

And in a town named for the daughter of Mary Magdalene, they erected the Grail and began the resurgence of the Divine Feminine? But what exactly is the Grail?

A clue comes from a knight wishing to join the Templars, wishing “to experience the joys of Paradise.” Were the knights offering some kind of mystical revelation?

Based on material from his explosive new book First Templar Nation: How the Knights Templar Created Europe's First Nation-state , best-selling author Freddy Silva reveals a previously unknown chapter in the story of these enigmatic knights. He explores the Grail, its location, the Templar’s secret initiation chambers, and evidence that the knights practiced an ancient ritual in which candidates claimed to be ‘raised from the dead’.

All this in the one place no one has ever thought to look.

WHAT SACRED TREASURE COULD ST. LOUIS HAVE BROUGHT BACK FROM HIS CRUSADE?

$

Crusaders coming home from the Holy Land

St Louis IX participated in the Seventh Crusade. The Templars and nobles from around the world joined him on his doomed crusade. At the New Orleans cathedral, St Louis's life is depicted in stained glass by the great master Oidtman. It demonstrates Saint Louis's crusade to the Holy Land. One of the stops that St Louis visited was the sacred Mount Carmel Mountain. He brought back to France with him three hermits of the order of Carmelites located in what was known Elijah's home. St Louis was a major supporter of the Carmelite order which has a chapel located next to Montmartre in Paris. The question is what else he brought home from his Crusades. We know he loved relics and considered them great treasures. One of Saint Louis's bible contains the picture of the Geometrician God. We still have preserved the Moralisee Bibles used to teach the kings of France. It was considered sacred and divine knowledge. Below is the link of the Picture of God using a compass to create the world using geometry.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/4d/God_the_Geometer.jpg/469px-God_the_Geometer.jpg

Pythagoras visited and was taught the mystic teachings from the priest who lived there. Mount Carmel has remained a sacred place for thousands of years. Did Saint Louis bring back some of those teachings of Pythagoras? He was a great builder of churches who stand to this day. Saint Chapelle and Our Lady of Chartres were built by Saint Louis. The Great Architect of the World occurs in Gnosticism. It's surprising that Saint Louis who battled the Cathars( a French heretical sect) whose teachings were influenced in Gnosticism would have the image in his bible. The Great Architect is a major theme in Freemasonry.

The ceiling of Saint Chapelle is field with a ceiling of Stars of David which are two triangles interconnected. Stars could reflect Pythagoras's teachings or Solomon's seal and it's obvious that St Louis thought the hexagram was not a Jewish symbol alone. He was intolerant with the Jews at the time but one wonders if Saint Louis ancestry had a connection to King David's lineage. The Cathedral at Chartres has some of the finest stained glass dating back to St Louis's days as king. Stained glass manufacturing in Chartres France has produced some of the rarest and finest quality which has lasted for centuries. The stained glass windows of Chartres depict the story of Noah and the Giants or Nephilim. The Nephilim were in Genesis Chapter 6 in which fallen angels came to Earth and married the daughters of Eve. One of these windows shows a giant holding a club which may symbolize the Constellation of Orion. Chartres has multiple places where the symbols of the constellations are located in the cathedral.

http://www.therosewindow.com/pilot/Chartres/w47-64-8.htm

Saint Louis visited the holy sight of Elijah named Mount Carmel. Elijah was taken up to heaven in a fiery chariot. Mount Carmel is home to archeological excavations in which Neanderthal and Homo sapiens have lived for 600,000 years. Saint Louis's height was over six feet tall and he was a giant among men of his time. His stained glass windows show his fascination with the Nephilim and the giants of old. His trip to Mount Carmel must have been a fascinating one and who knows what knowledge the hermits brought with them. A sect called the Nazoreans lived at Mount Carmel and INRI placed on Jesus's cross Latin translation Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews. The connection of Mount Carmel demonstrates a possibility of many connections of the heavenly events such as Elijah.

The one event in the 1900's and significant to our time is Fatima's Miracle of the Sun. One of the oldest scapulars is Our Lady of Mount Carmel of which Saint Simon Stock saw the vision of Our Lady and the symbols were placed on the hermits aprons. Saint Louis may have brought and met one of these hermits at Mount Carmel to Paris. In the Fatima Miracle of the Sun, shepherd children saw a bright object (sun) dance in the skies witnessed by thousands. One of the children Lucia was wearing the Mount Carmel scapula.

The prophecies of Fatima have one suppressed revelation in which reveals a great catastrophe coming to the world. Mount Carmel has been said by UFO believers that it has many connections with possible extraterrestrial activity. One theory is a portal may be located there. The story of Elijah and the fiery chariot could be a story reflecting that theory.

Saint Louis brought with him Mount Carmel hermits who possibly possessed the sacred knowledge of Pythagoras and stars on the ceiling of Saint Chapelle reflects these teachings. His reverence for astronomy and the Great Geometrician was placed in his Bible. We have his bible even to this day and it is a great treasure of the past.

In our historical thriller, we talk about how the archangel Uriel loses his halo and how Noah was given the Keys of Life to help save mankind from an extinction level event. Da Vinci is depicting a legend about Uriel who comes to the rescue of John the Baptist’s family and reunites them with Jesus' family in Egypt. The Massacre of the Innocents, Herod decrees that the first male children must be killed because the Magi have told him that the star in the sky brings news of a newborn who will be King of the Jews. Our book talks about this mysterious event and about Uriel. Uriel was found in the Book of Enoch which was found in Ethiopia and at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Uriel aided Noah and his family in surviving the Great Flood. It is during the time of the Nephilim where angels from heaven came to Earth and took the daughters of Eve for wives.

Today, NASA reported the Kepler has found an Earth cousin planet called Kepler -186. It is 500 light years away in the Constellation of Cygnus. The planet is in the habitable zone and has the right conditions for water. The keys of life, scientists believe is water and Kepler- 186 has all the right conditions for it.

Cygnus constellation is known as the Northern Cross and in the shape of a swan. A Celtic tale talks about the Children of Lir. Lir was a member of the Tuatha De Danann who were a race of supernatural beings. It was said they landed in dark clouds on the mountains. They were tall like giants and very powerful. Another great myth about Cygnus is great poet Orpheus was transformed into a great swan. He was placed next to his lyre in the sky. In Ovid’s Metamorphis, three people are transformed into swans.

In the book of Genesis and Book of Enoch, scrolls left to mankind over the years which talks about the Nephilim and Uriel who aided Noah in building an ark for the Great Flood. Great knowledge of the stars and the moon was given to Enoch by Uriel, who passed this knowledge to his children. Noah’s children have come a long way, today they are traveling through the heavens landing on planets. Uriel would be proud of us and who knows we may be united with Earth’s cousin planet. We are getting closer and closer to finding life on other planets.

DA VINCI'S GUARDIAN AND THE LOST TOMB OF CELTIC GIANTS

In Da Vinci’s Virgin of the Rocks painting at the London Museum and at the Louvre, the Holy Family is reunited in a grotto. A huge menhir or monolith stands behind Mary acting like a guardian to protect them. Monoliths are found all over Europe and many are located next to ancient sacred sites. Abbe Boudet of Renne les Bains wrote a fascinating books called The Real Celtic Language and the Cromleck of Rennes les Bains. Within the foreword of the book are some interesting words about the Celtic Language, he tells the reader that the Celtic Language is spoken by millions of men in the universe. Did Abbe Boudet believe in life on other planets? He may have and the area he studied was in a place called Rennes Les Bains. The Celts had heroes that were giants and their legends were passed on through oral traditions. Semi divine races of giants were in the Celtic folklore and their tombs

. Da Vinci’s painting’s menhir may reflect the pagan past and the Archangel Uriel guards the children from Herod who placed an edict that all first born males were to be killed. Uriel is an angel which plays a role in the Book of Enoch and saves Noah’s family from extinction. A large rock formation called "Veilleur" (the guardian). Is this the monolith in Da Vinci’s painting? Link to the Virgin on the Rocks by Da Vinci with the Guardian

The area around the rock is filled of legends such as a Lost Tomb going back to ancient times. Monoliths were placed by the Celts near their tombs. Da Vinci knew many churches were built over ancient and sacred grounds. The Veilleur is near three other rock formations that are lined up like Orion’s belt in the constellation Orion. The river Sals runs near Rennes Les Bains and it is known for its curative power. In Da Vinci’s painting a spring runs through the grotto. Blanche Castile has a legend where she drank the waters and was cured. At the Notre Dame of Chartres, a stained glass window depicts the story of Noah and the Nephilim or Giants. One giant carries a club like the symbol of the Orion constellation. The Orion constellation was associated with the Egyptian god Osiris.

Da Vinci died in France and may well have been aware of the rock formations near Rennes Les Bains and the legends surrounding the area. Blanche Castile must have known of the story of the giants in the Book of Noah because she placed them in the stained glass windows of Chartres which date back to the 1200’s. Her son and uncle were giants among men and I have often wondered if she believed her family were related to this ancient family dating back to Noah. Is it a coincidence?

Original painting 1481 - 1482
by Mary Alice Bennett

Close-ups of the above painting. Just match the numbers to the smaller pictures and then match them to the explanation below.

The Madonna and child sit in front of a tree which symbolizes (1) "the tree of life". Behind the tree sits the duet of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. (3) Jesus has one hand on the tree of life and the other points towards heaven symbolizing his future "progeny" with Mary . (2) Mary's hands seem to be praying but she is actually symbolizing the "womb" and their child. In the background there is a knight, a (4) Templar Knight. The progeny of Jesus and Mary has always been the tradition of the Knights Templar. On looker on the right side is portrayed holding his hand in the (5) "V" shape for femininity.

WAS DA VINCI’S LAST SUPPER: PROPHETIC? POPE FRANCIS DISCUSSES CLERICS MARRYING

Da Vinci’s Last Supper caused a stir when Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code brought to light that perhaps a woman sat next to Jesus. Da Vinci painted feminine figure in his painting The Last Supper. Some viewers see only a young John seated next to Jesus but did Da Vinci see women’s roles in the church changing in the future? Pope Francis announced he is going to look at the celibacy law of the church which was enacted 900 years ago after Jesus’s death. A severe shortage of priests has come to the attention of the Pope and he is looking for a way to help recruit. The celibacy law is a major deterrent for men signing up to the priesthood. Pope Francis is looking to reform the church and this may be one law that goes down.

Click here to enlarge top photo.

Da Vinci had visions and dreams. He wrote these visions in his sketches. One sketch foretells rising seas and floods. Mankind is watching the rising of the seas and land being taken over. Tanks, airplanes, and bicycles sketched in his drawings. Did he envision these machines in the future? Robotics was another vision and we see the drones entering in the weaponry of nations. Women’s role in the world did he paint their rise in status in government agencies and world religions. I say yes and his painting of the Last Supper demonstrates it.

Da Vinci’s paintings were made to last for centuries and he knew his work would outlast many men’s lifetimes. A woman seated next to Jesus and other apostles brings the idea of women sharing in his ministry. The church in the past has kept the sexes separate and women on a lower level than men.Da Vinci may have foretold the future of women’s roles and Pope Francis seems to be looking to solve a serious problem within the church. It’s crisis time. Da Vinci may have seen the crisis looming in the future and painted the Last Supper with a prophecy that the church in the future would see a woman seated at the table with the apostles who we know were married such as Peter. Da Vinci saw the hypocrisy of the Popes in his time that had mistresses and children. The Last Supper by Da Vinci maybe a prophecy that one day in the future a woman could sit at the table as an equal with her husband rather than the adolescent child John. The viewer chooses and consciousness changes over time. Da Vinci may have known this day would arrive and which way would mankind choose would be up to them.

DOWN THE ESCALATOR AND BACK THROUGH TIME

$

Envision yourself at your favorite shopping mall. Now imagine standing at the top of a down escalator. See the stairs moving: locking and collapsing forming new steps and then repeating. The black handrail seems alive rolling up to the top and then suddenly descending down. Your hand moves forward and hesitantly grabs hold of the handrail. Your body lurches forward with your foot unconsciously searching for purchase. Feel the shudder of this mechanical device as your body automatically adjusts to the movement. This escalator is your time machine allowing your mind to travel back to an unexpected yet welcome past.

Your eyes are closed and your body is at rest. You are relaxing in a reclining chair or laying comfortably on your sofa. Calming words are directing your movements as you slip slowly under her control.

The escalator is vibrating, hastening your descent. You are asked to look around and your memory provides glimpses of things remembered, signs, colors, and you feel assured. You have ridden many escalators and this is a familiar experience.

The reassuring bottom floor is approaching. You hesitate, as always, cautiously but decisively, stepping from a moving platform to a still landing.

There, you've done it. Feet firmly planted on the ground. You look around and see familiar kiosks and storefronts. You are ushered on, instructed to turn right and to follow the hallway leading away. You are told to look for a door and once found to describe its color. The door is green and you open it and enter the space behind it.

You are told that you are in a beautiful meadow that has a pathwayleading to a forest and beyond. Following the path, you are reassured by its familiarity and enter the forest. It is reminiscent of forests you've seen. The trees are comforting and you stop at one point to rub your hands over the bark of an exceptionally beautiful tree. A few seconds later you exit the forest and follow the worn path around to the right where you are made aware that soon you will meet someone, someone familiar. And there, coming into view, is a woman with a young child. She is beautiful, tall, and slender with long dark hair. You have never seen her before, but you know her, and you know her name. It is Sarah. And the child, a boy five years old, lifts his head and looks into your eyes and you realize this boy is your son.

This voice guides you back to the escalator and once again you step off but this time you are in a darkened room. The walls are made of huge rocks cemented into place. Filtered light is coming in through small, narrow windows. The floor and ceiling are hewn out of rough timbers and there before you is a table. The table consists of wide wooden planks, hand polished down to a semi-smooth finish and fastened together by pieces of iron. You are asked if there is anything on the table and you answer: "Yes."

There is a sword. You are told to pick up the sword. It is heavy and requires two hands to lift. It is a broadsword. You are asked to describe the sword. It is  highly polished and has a rectangular engraved gold hilt and jewel encrusted gold handle. You become aware that your vision is obstructed and realize for the first time that you are wearing a helmet and that you have no peripheral vision because your sight is limited to the size of the opening of your visor. This shock forces you to see that you are wearing a coat of chain maille and armour. Lowering the sword you step to the left and cautiously look around the room and discover that you are alone. You are informed that you are a Knight Templar and the sword is "Excalibur' and you must be truly blessed because you can see the true shape and colors of the sword. Your mind questions this implausible explanation but agrees to continue with the experience.

Once again you return to the escalator and then enter another realm and find yourself in a large room with another woman. This room appears to have uneven plaster on the walls and wood plank framing along the walls and ceiling. It almost looks colonial in fashion but much rougher. The woman is short, barely over five feet tall and older than Sarah. She is wearing a long, light brown robe and her face is partially hidden by the hood of her garment. You are asked who she is and you answer: "Mary."

Once again you are asked if she is saying anything to you and once again you hear nothing.

Out of a window, you see a hill and are instructed to climb the hill because there is someone there you need to meet .  As you approach the summit you see a tall man with a short beard. You instantly recognize this man as Jesus. This time you are shocked because you realize that he is directly communicating with you. His lips are not moving but you clearly hear his message, "Believe in me!" This admission opens a flood of emotion, tears stream from your eyes and you are swallowed up in self-guilt and denial.

Your guide comforts you and when you are emotionally ready, she sends you back to the escalator and you enter a village that is situated next to a river. You see men wearing brightly coloured, woven garments made from linen and wool and the women are wearing long dresses and some of them have leather aprons. Open fires are cooking stews outside of log houses, sending both smoke and steam into the air whose aromas linger and drift, filling your nostrils. Long narrow boats have been hauled up upon the river's banks and you realize that you are in a Viking village and have travelled back a thousands years.

At this point, emotion and fatigue force you to return to the escalator and travel up back to the second floor, back to the comfort and safety of your recliner.

Your journey is finished and you open your eyes.

My travel guide was Dr. Barbara Young, who according to her website, "has lived and studied Christian Mysticism for thirty years." She states that she has experienced external "Apparitions of Light Figures" since childhood and that her mind-consciousness education began with pre-medicine, which branched into psychology and the study of altered states of consciousness, parapsychology and medicine, world religions and the psychology of social change.

She has worked with missile system technology and has conducted medical and oceanographic research.

In 1977, she set off on a twenty year "walk-about" to educate the public in what she believes is the "true purpose in life, the evolution of its spiritual nature and its Divination." She has appeared on many radio and television interviews. You can find out more information about Dr. Young at her website: http://www.templechryses.org.

. . .

This journey of traveling back through time, I believe, is a type of remote-hypnosis that gives freedom to the mind to create scenarios by forming mental constructs of places we have actually visited or seen in photographs or on television. It is in these familiar places that we allow our emotions to emerge so that we can deal with them.

In the movie "The Matrix", Morpheus offers Neo two pills. The red pill will answer the question "What is the Matrix?" and the blue pill will allow Neo to return to life as before. As Neo reaches for the red pill, Morpheus warns him:

"Remember, all I'm offering is the truth. Nothing more."

I am supposed to telephone Dr. Young for a second session, but so I'm not certain I want the red pill!

THE SUPERNATURAL POWER OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT AND OTHER ANCIENT ASTRONAUT MYSTERIES

$

Recent programs on the History Channel and elsewhere on cable television have helped popularize the concept that extraterrestrials have been visiting Earth since time immemorial and have been responsible for many of the advancements of human civilization. Once the mainstay of writers such as Erich von Daniken, Brinsley Le Poer Trench and W.R. Drake, the concept has since inspired big budget movie epics and   television shows like “Ancient Aliens” and, more recently, “In Search Of Aliens,” hosted by the "wild-haired" Giorgios Tsoukalos.

Steven Spielberg first burned images of the Ark of the Covenant into our collective imagination when his 1981 mega-hit “Raiders of the Lost Ark” was unleashed upon the public. The movie popularized the mysterious Ark for a more secular audience as Harrison Ford found himself in conflict with Nazi archaeologists who sought to conquer the world by using the supernatural powers of the Ark as a terrorist weapon.

Recently, journalist Timothy Beckley and his always prolific publishing house Inner Light - Global Communications set out to explore the mysteries of the Ark and other super-weapons of antiquity to determine if the “sky gods” were behind the development of these highly advanced implements of destruction – or if humankind

had somehow been able to conjure them up on their own.

Many questions arose, which Beckley and crew attempted to sort out during the course of their dissertation, such as:

When God instructed Moses and the Israelites to construct the Ark of the Covenant, could they have understood the awesome, death-dealing technology it contained?

Did ancient India, like the Old Testament Jews, possess weapons of mass destruction? The new book contends that nuclear weapons or a method of kinetic bombardment were a standard component of the arsenal of people living many thousands of years ago.

Read about weapons that appear on the surface to be rather commonplace, such as a simple sword or bow and arrow, but which are in fact supernaturally transformed by the gods into miraculous instruments of combat.

Does archeological evidence exist today that proves nuclear war took place in ancient times, negating our belief that atomic weapons did not exist until the 20th century? Was space travel another forgotten achievement of a people long ago consumed by the passing millennia? Did they leave spaceports behind as a sign of the technological prowess that helped them reach the stars?

In his introduction to the newly released book from Global Communications, “The Ark of the Covenant and Other Secret Weapons of the Ancients,” editor and author Timothy Green Beckley writes: “The Ark of the Covenant has always been an object of great wonderment. Biblical scholars have debated its uses for years, while the public fantasizes about its powers. Moviemakers have attempted to tell the story of this gleaming gold artifact in epic fictionalized form. Made to be a receptacle in which the Ten Commandments given Moses could be safeguarded, the Ark also had the power to destroy the enemies of the Israelites.”

Beckley goes on to explain that he met researcher and writer David Medina in the 1970s when Beckley was visiting the UK to speak before the House of Lords UFO group. Medina presented Beckley with his privately printed manuscript on the Ark and asked Beckley’s help in giving it wider distribution. Beckley subsequently published Medina’s book and was pleased with thelimited but positive reception it received.

Recently, Beckley decided to publish a new edition, this time with additional chapters written by Beckley’s usual robust stable of writers. The new book focuses not just on the Ark of the Covenant but also examines other high-tech weapons created by what we have been taught are vastly more primitive societies. Thus the “Other Secret Weapons of the Ancients” part of the new book’s title.

THE ARK AND ITS ENIGMATIC CAPABILITIES

The book opens with the reprint of David Medina’s original text. Medina gives an account of the building of the Ark of the Covenant, based on verses from the 25th chapter of the Book of Exodus, as well as describing other elements that went along with it, such as the tent specifically constructed to house the Ark.

It fell to Moses’ brother Aaron, in his role as high priest, to tend to various ceremonies and rituals related to the Ark. Aaron and his sons, who often assisted their father with his priestly duties, were required to wear special clothing while in the Ark’s presence. It has long been speculated, by Medina and numerous other writers before and since, that the special clothing was not a simple matter of priestly ceremonial garb but was instead specifically intended to protect Aaron and his sons from high levels of radiation. Because of that danger, no one else was permitted near the Ark. There are incidents recorded in the Bible in which disobedient Israelites ventured close to the Ark anyway and were subsequently struck dead by the device or died lingering deaths from radiation sickness.

It is also theorized that the Ark could generate high voltage electricity and serve as a two-way radio to the heavens. How did some pieces of acacia wood, some gold overlay and a few other components readily available to the Israelites, who were essentially wandering nomads in the desert, accomplish this technological wonder? That is part of the fascination of Medina’s analysis of the Ark of the Covenant and the details are better left for those reading the Global Communications book to discover for themselves.

THE UFOS OF INDIA AND THEIR DEADLY PAYLOAD

But the formidable Ark was not the only high-tech weapon of the ancient world. As part of Beckley’s aforementioned stable of writers, I contributed a chapter to the new book on the weapons of ancient India. A great deal of the mythology of ancient India is taken up with a form of flying craft called a “vimana,” whose origin is unclear. Some Sanskrit writings say the vimanas were manmade but available to only a rich and elite part of the population. Other writings say the vimanas belonged to the gods and served to house ascended holy ones in luxury dwellings in the sky.

But whatever that mystery may involve, the relevance to the new book lies in the fact that the vimanas were used to deliver and deploy super-weapons similar to our nuclear missiles. In the midst of a conflict between two ancient royal families, called the Kuruhshetra War, a projectile called a “Brahmastra” was launched from a vimana flying overhead. According to the scripture called the “Mahabharata,” the missile, also called the “Iron Thunderbolt,” produced “an incandescent column of smoke and fire, as brilliant as a thousand suns,” and reduced the enemy combatants to ashes. “The corpses were so burned as to be unrecognizable. The hair and nails fell out; pottery broke without cause; and the birds turned white. After a few hours, all foodstuffs were infected.”

All of which is familiar to modern readers as the consequences of the radiation-saturated aftermath of a nuclear blast. As an eerie addendum, 20th century archeologists uncovered evidence that certain cities in the Indus Valley region had been completely destroyed, with people lying dead in the streets. Some kind of “sudden doom” had decimated these cities, killing the entire population and leaving no survivors to bury the dead.

LETHAL FORCE WITHOUT THE MESSY CONSEQUENCES

There is little disagreement among scholars of the subject that some kind of death-dealing technology was available to the ancients that is easily comparable to nuclear weaponry. But author Olav Phillips begs to differ about all that. While he refers to the same passages of the Mahabharata as most scholars do, Phillips argues that the weapons in question may not have been nuclear.

The “Iron Thunderbolt” of the Kuruhshetra War may instead have been an example of “kinetic bombardment,” Phillips contends, or the use of super-dense chunks of material dropped at terminal velocity from orbit or high altitude. Kinetic bombardment would produce the same effects as a small-scale nuclear device minus the radiation. Those effects would include an enormous fireball and a tremendous shockwave that would radiate outwards from the impact site. Phillips believes this explains the decimated cities discovered by archeologists in the Indus Valley.

“The superheated shockwave and concussive force wall,” Phillips writes, “would explain the collapse of structures and the scorching.”

Phillips goes on to say that kinetic weapons are easy to target since their firing angle can be computed from orbit. He says modern weapons developers are working on something called “Project Thor” or the “Rods From God,” a system which hurls telephone pole-sized tungsten rods from orbit for the purpose of targeted, non-nuclear strikes.

Military planners have been working on the idea since the 1950s, and there exists a 2003 US Air Force report suggesting that a tungsten cylinder six meters long impacting at Mach 10 has the equivalent kinetic energy of 11.5 tons of TNT. The idea is to deploy a lethal weapon with mass destructive force that does not have a long lasting global environmental impact. Phillips believes the combatants in the Mahabharata must have reached a similar conclusion, that a large-scale nuclear exchange would permanently destroy the very land they seek to possess, so they too opted for a devastating weapon that would not cause long-term ecological damage.

SWORDS WITH A MAGICAL EDGE

Publisher Timothy Green Beckley takes up the subject of magical swords, swords that were not mere steel attached to a hilt but were instead handed down by the gods to aid mortals in combat. One finds this idea in numerous Greek myths, such as when Perseus was given a sword by the gods to slay the monster Medusa, she who had hair made of snakes and scales invincible to human-made weapons.

Also included is a brief retelling of the legend of King Arthur’s sword “Excalibur” and how it blinded his opponents with its brightness. Meanwhile, the scabbard that stored Excalibur had healing powers and would prevent its bearer from bleeding to death. Excalibur can only be brandished for good purposes or it is useless. It prevents those who wield it from lying and inspires courage in all who follow in its path.

Well-known writers Brad Steiger and Tim R. Swartz provide chapters for “The Ark of the Covenant and Other Secret Weapons of the Ancients” as well. Steiger talks about the archeological evidence found throughout the world for prehistoric nuclear war while Swartz declares that the ancients may have achieved space travel and bolsters that contention with still more archeological evidence.

“The Ark of the Covenant and Other Secret Weapons of the Ancients” is profusely illustrated, thanks mainly to the efforts of writer and graphic designer William Kern, who packs the pages with Biblical art relevant to the story of the Ark as well as paintings depicting the flying craft and weaponry of Indian mythology. The book is an excellent and original approach to the subject of Ancient Astronauts and their technological revelations to early mankind that will have you shaking your head in wonderment even as you shudder at the destructive force we are capable of with a little help from above.

THE ALCHEMICAL BLACKBIRD OF RENNES-LE-CHATEAU-THE PIERRE PLANTARD TAROT

The Empress tarot card, the Empress at Rennes-le-Chateau.

The Alchemical Blackbird of Rennes-le-Chateau - the Pierre Plantard Tarot Alchemy is one of the main mystery foundations at Rennes-le-Chateau and since it is a secretive subject, not much is out in the open.

Click here to enlarge top photo.

The famous scholar of the Merovingian dynasty, Pierre Plantard of Priory of Sion fame was a draftsman adept at architectural drawing. He left to us five major arcana tarot card drawings which include buildings from Rennes-le-Chateau and Rennes-le-Bains in the backgrounds. This collage is the first of them that I colored to bring them to life, she is the Imperatrice, the Empress. Kissing her foot is a Templar knight whom I believe to be a self-portrait of the artist himself looking out at us. Note how he holds and leans on a painters` stick as an oil painter would do. The Empress rests her foot on a crescent moon which can be a reference to the woman with the moon under her feet from "The Revelation of John the Divine" known as "The Apocalypse of John", or the crescent may symbolize the Saracen enemies of the Templar knights. The railing and the checker board floor tiles locate the scene in the interior of the church at Rennes-le-Chateau. All we have of the cards are small black and white pictures from an issue of "Vaincre" magazine from the 1960s. One photo is of four of the cards which are cropped to fit into such a small space, these now have been enlarged. I had to add the head of the lady angel which was taken from the 19th c. Oswald Wirth tarot deck, this is the tarot deck Plantard used for his characters.

The 19th c. Oswald Wirth deck was the first modern deck to replace the original Marseilles cards which were woodcuts. There are slight but meaningful differences in the Plantard copies of the Wirth characters. Note the blackbird on the shield of the angel, it is a symbol of alchemy. To "behead the blackbird" in alchemical language refers to the "nigredo" black prima material with which the alchemist experiments.

In these operations much depends on the alignments of the stars and the proper meditational attitude of the alchemist. In the small photo of the four cards, the head of the angel is missing, was this an intentional omission which references an alchemical parable? - probably. One of the cards was painted by Plantard himself and is called "The Pope of Rennes-le-Bains" which has the back of the church of Rennes-le-Bains in the background along with other pertinent symbols including a megalithic formation up on the mountain behind the church. The design is taken from the Wirth tarot but is enlarged as a painting. Plantard includes fine detailed background landscapes and buildings, he was an excellent artist. In these works of art is hidden the genius of the artist, this is the first of several articles that will explore the messages apparent in his work.

Other researchers eagerly search for the remainder of the entire deck hoping to discover clues and directions to hidden relics and treasure, but I believe that the gold of Plantard`s wisdom is alchemical. He was known as an alchemist in his time, a few of the cards are signed and dated having been painted in different years in the 1960s. Compare the photographs of Pierre Plantard to the face of the French knight in the foreground, this is his message to us from the past to the future. In this card he worships the Empress who is the angel with the twelve stars. On the lower wall are depicted 3 signs: the Mason`s square, a Templar camel (the Templars in Egypt), and the Hebrew letter "gimel" which means "a camel". In the Wirth tarot the Imperatrice angel card III has the letter gimel on it as each of the cards carries a letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Plantard expands on this.

In the issue of "Vaincre" the cards are reversed so the gimel on the wall is reversed, however Plantard signed them this way (reversed) leaving us more secrets to ponder. He framed his cards with sandstone brick masonry, the colors of which he painted on his pope card. "Rennes-le-Bains" is named for the hot-springs and baths in the area. Plantard has given us an additional dimension from which to view the mysteries of Rennes-le-Chateau.
